Outside

When I go outside,
I see the Lovely trees.
I see a big bee hive,
filled with honey,
and lots and lots of bees.
The grass is growing so very tall,
than I hear a robin, blue bird,
crow, and lots of hawks call.
When I look up in the blue, blue sky,
I see lots of clouds up high.
The flowers are growing,
Now it's time to do some lawn mowing.
If you look in the sky,
you'll see the bright, yellow sun,
Wow, look at it! That thing must weigh a ton!
It's a perfect day to draw outside with a pen,
I can't wait till spring comes again!

THE HIATUS

Hunter has finally started drawing again after a 4 month hiatus.

Hunter and his brother, dad, and grandpa went camping today, so in his absence, I decided to tackle his bedroom. And this was a full-on tackle. Papers galore. Some had just a few markings on them; some were mess-ups. Some were very good. Here are a few I found in the following posts:

Here is Hunter's latest. He did this for kindtree.org 's Autism Artism 2009. It's so hard to get him to stay on task! He had many 5 minute breaks to run outside and jump on the tramp before he finished this. Argghhh!

A DISAPPEARING ACT FOR NOW

I haven't posted in awhile because Hunter has stopped drawing. I don't know why. He'll draw a little, but nothing like he used to. He is in a different phase now, and it is music. He has been playing the piano, picking out tunes with both hands, and it actually sounds good! He mostly plays hymns and Primary songs. To be honest, something is up with him. He's regressed in some areas, and I can't figure it out quite yet. The tide ebbs and flows around here. I just hope it doesn't dry up completely.
